The photographer talks about her 'behind-the-scenes' photos of Muhammed Ali .
Sonia Katchian was the first woman photographer to work on on the New York Post. She was alsoÌýthe first woman to be allowed to take ringside photos of a heavyweight championship fight.ÌýNow an exhibition in London features her pictures of boxer Muhammed Ali, taken while Sonia was part of his entourage. They portrayÌýhim as a family man, a man of the people, a loyal sonÌýas well asÌýthe iconicÌýsportsman. Sonia takes Jane around the exhibition and talks about her life, her photographs and about whether, from her unique perspective, Ali really was ‘The Greatest’.
