"I think it is one of Spector's finest, I mean, when it comes to ballads, some of those Righteous Brothers songs are just incredible. The way he recorded the vocals and just the power of the whole thing. But "River Deep Mountain High" is just one of the most perfect pop records you could ever wish for."
