Y Promatics are a buzzy act that emerged on to the scene in North Wales in 2007. They shift from sounding like early Futureheads to minimal electro in the blink of an eye. After a busy 2009 playing festivals such as Wakestock and Huw Stephens’s Sŵn, the band are due to release their second EP, Polar, on 7 June. They’re received support and airplay from C2 on 91¸£ÀûÉç Radio Cymru.
