Do animals have an awareness of the past like humans? CrowdScience listener Taiwo would like to know the answer.

Most of us spend time thinking about the past. But is that just a human activity or do other animals ruminate on their history too? CrowdScience listener Taiwo is keen to know if there鈥檚 any evidence to show that animals are aware of the past and if it matters to them.

Caroline Steel meets researchers who have found evidence that animals not only remember past events, but find that memory useful for navigating the environment.
