Mark King of Level 42 is your virtual tour guide at The Music Is Black exhibition!

Feelgood tunes to groove and soothe your soul. Plus, a musician, celebrity or listener chooses the tracks that take them back to the dance floors of their youth in Rewind Selector.

Feelgood favourites, hidden gems and fresh new tunes to groove and soothe your soul. DJ Spoony serves up a brilliant selection of classic soul, disco, soulful house, R&B, funk, UK garage, reggae, hip-hop, doo-wop, yacht rock and more. Our genial host also gives his ‘New 2 Spoon’ record of the week another spin.

We take another virtual trip to the V&A East Museum's inaugural exhibition' The Music Is Black', this time with Level 42's Mark King. There's a whole array of musical instruments on display such as trailblazer Winifred Atwell's upright piano, a woodwind instrument played by Courtney Pine, a saxophone owned by Lee Thompson of Madness, and a Bo Diddley model electric guitar owned by Peter Green. Tonight the Level 42 front man talks about the bass guitar he has donated and reminisces about the beginnings of Brit Funk. Tuesday night is ‘Rewind Selector’ night, where a musician, celebrity or Good Groove listener chooses the tracks that take them back to the dance floors of their youth. Tonight it's the wonderful Gary Davies in charge! To share your early clubbing memories e-mail spoony@bbc.co.uk.

Spoony wraps things up with a ‘Midnight Feast’ track. Think big production, lush orchestration and the best voices in the business!
