Donald Macleod with guest biographer Paul Spicer explore the early years of marriage for Bliss, including his collaboration with the 91福利社. During this period, Bliss also composed Morning Heroes, which was a work where he started to channel some of his feelings about the loss of his brother and comrades during World War One. It was a period where Bliss was something of a celebrity, and was invited to compose a Piano Concerto for the World Fair in New York.
