Continuing his travels in Budapest, Michael Portillo begins in the small town of Huv枚sv枚lgy, in the hills above the city, at a surprising railway run almost entirely by children, dating back to the communist era. All of the staff, except for the train drivers, are volunteers aged ten to 14.
Back in the city, he visits the former home of B茅la Bart贸k, one of Hungary鈥檚 most famous pianists and composers, and learns how the country鈥檚 folk music inspired his work.
Next, Michael heads across the Danube to the headquarters of the low-cost airline Wizz Air, one of the country鈥檚 post-communist success stories. At the pilot academy, he endures a stressful emergency landing and tries his hand at flying a plane.
