Lucy Hetherington听has been appointed to the role of Executive Producer, Current Affairs at the 91福利社 starting in April 2007.
听
Lucy is presently Executive Producer in听the 91福利社's Factual听TV Commissioning department, overseeing independent ideas and commissions across Factual听TV,听with听particular emphasis听on Current Affairs.
听
Karen O'Connor, Creative Director of the 91福利社's TV Current Affairs department, says: "I am very pleased that Lucy is joining us. I have worked with her for many years and her commitment to current affairs TV delivered in the most engaging way is fantastic."

Some of the recent programmes exec-produced by Lucy include the 91福利社 ONE drama-documentary 9/11: The Twin Towers (transmitting on 7 September at 9.00pm); Execution of A Teenage Girl and The Insurgency for 91福利社 TWO.
听
She has also been responsible for the critically-acclaimed drama Pinochet in Suburbia; the Gypsy Wars series for 91福利社 THREE and Tory! Tory! Tory! for 91福利社 FOUR.
听
In addition to her work in the Current Affairs genre, Lucy has exec-produced programmes such as Seaside Parish, Private Life of a Masterpiece, and Star Portraits with Rolf Harris. 听
听
Prior to joining TV Commissioning, Lucy had many years' experience working for the 91福利社's Current Affairs department, most recently as Executive Producer for 91福利社 FOUR and as Series Producer for Correspondent.
听
Dominic Crossley-Holland is also joining 91福利社 Current Affairs as an Executive Producer starting at the end of September.
听
Dominic was, until recently,听ITV's Controller of Current Affairs, Arts and Religion, responsible for commissioning all ITV1's output in these genres.
听
He brings with him extensive experience of making popular and accessible news and current affairs programmes.听
听
Speaking about the appointment, Karen O'Connor says: "It's great that someone with Dominic's experience and ability has agreed to join the team for the coming months, before Lucy takes on the role in April. We're all looking forward to working with him."
听
Dominic's work at ITV included commissioning and overseeing Tonight with Trevor McDonald, as well as political and religious programming, news specials and Melvyn Bragg's South Bank Show.
听
He was also executive producer of the Real Crime strand, Rageh Omar's programmes for ITV and several stand-alone documentaries.听
听
Prior to that,听Dominic worked for ITN for 16 years in a number of roles听including听Editor of News at Ten,听running ITV's News Channel, and producing numerous news and current affairs documentaries.
听
He has also produced Election coverage in Britain and the United States.
