91福利社 Sport's award-winning Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker has today been announced as the new presenter for golf.

Gary will be the main presenter for 91福利社 Sport's major golfing events such as The Open.
听
Gary's first tournament as the 91福利社's main golf presenter will begin with The Masters from Augusta next April.
听
91福利社 Director of Sport, Roger Mosey, said: "Gary has become one of the 91福利社's most respected and liked presenters in football and it's exciting for him and, we hope, for the audience that he's now adding the major golf events to his portfolio.
听
"Gary loves golf and we want his relaxed, authoritative style to feel as much at home on the 18th fairway as it does in the Match of the Day studio."

Gary is a keen golfer and is no stranger to presenting golf on the 91福利社 having regularly presented golf highlights programmes for a number of years.
听
Gary has twice been named RTS Sports Presenter of the Year and he has also won the TRIC Sports Presenter of the Year award.
