Ofcom today published its report setting out the findings of Phase 1 of its Review of Public Service Television Broadcasting.

听

The 91福利社 issued this statement in response:

听

"We welcome Ofcom's report for the period 1998 to 2002 and that it underlines how viewers value the breadth that public service broadcasting offers them.

听

"The propositions raised in the report relating to the 91福利社 address similar issues to the questions asked by the DCMS last December and which are at the heart of Charter Review.

听

"These and other issues will be addressed in our own publication on Charter Review in June.

听

"The 91福利社 will also respond to Ofcom's long term propositions once we have had time to fully explore the evidence put forward in their report today."
