Dear sirs in response to your recent programme myself
and a few other people at work believe that the worlds
oldest newspaper still in circulation is in fact Berrows
Journal that dates from 1690.

May seem a bit strange...My grandmother about 10years
ago passed away but before had mentioned that her
grandfather was a James Henderson who was once Lord
Mayor of Belfast...is this the only James Henderson...or
was there another and do you anything of the family
now or how I would trace them.

The MCKAY family plot can be found in Clifton Street
graveyard also members of the Joy and McCracken family.
Francis Joy started up his paper at the Sign of the
Peacock in Bridge Street in1737 using printing equipment
he had obtained in payment of a debt .
