It’s the catchy song from the new Minecraft movie and at just 34 seconds long, Steve's Lava Chicken has now made UK music history - becoming the shortest song ever to enter the UK's Official Top 40 Chart.

Actor and musician, Jack Black who co-wrote the song and plays the character of Steve in the film, said he wanted to send “big love” to all the Minecraft fans for getting the song into the charts, adding it’s “insane”.

Since the release of A Minecraft Movie, the song's popularity has seen it reach viral status on social media, with people singing along, recording their own versions or using it as a soundtrack to their own videos.

The song is currently sitting in 21st position in the UK Top 40 Chart.
