Northern Ireland's Two Door Cinema Club first made an impression on the music world after a show stealing performance on the 91¸£ÀûÉç Introducing Stage at Glastonbury 2009. That performance was picked up by the television coverage and kicked off a meteoric rise in fortunes for the trio, which eventually led to a 91¸£ÀûÉç Sound of 2010 nomination and debut album Tourist History picking up Ireland's Choice Music Prize. This year they achieved one of the greatest accolades for any indie rock band - they played the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
