Paddy Raff and Tim McGarry join the cast of new Hope Street film
Letitia Hector also joins the cast and crew as filming begins in Donaghadee on the drama special
Comedians Paddy Raff and Tim McGarry will make their Hope Street debuts in the fictional town of Port Devine, as they guest star in a feature-length special of the popular police drama series.
Paddy, Tim and fellow new cast member Letitia Hector will join the Hope Street cast and crew on the streets of Donaghadee, Co Down, this week as filming begins on One of Our Own - A Hope Street Film.
This one-off special is a co-commission between 91福利社 Northern Ireland, 91福利社 Daytime, Northern Ireland Screen and BritBox. It will air on 91福利社 One Northern Ireland and 91福利社 Daytime later this autumn following a theatrical release in cinemas across Northern Ireland in September 2026, with further cinematic releases across the UK in October 2026.
Paddy Raff joins the cast as The Commodore鈥檚 new chef and barman Malcolm McQueen. Tim McGarry plays Port Devine鈥檚 minister the Reverend Dodds. And Letitia Hector as Marlene鈥檚 love interest Anna Baptiste. Niall Wright (A Woman Of Substance) will reprise his role as Callum McCarthy.
They join regular returning cast members Kerri Quinn (Marlene Pettigrew), Tara-Lynne O鈥橬eill (Eve Dunlop), Niamh McGrady (Nicole Devine-Dunwoody), Marcus Onilude (Luke Jackson), Cameron Cuffe (Donal Gallagher), Katie Shortt (Brandi McClure), Eleanor Methven (Lois Dunlop), Paddy Jenkins (Seamie McCarthy), Jonny Grogan (Ross Dunlop) and RheAna Kamalu (Chloe Jackson). Further cast details will be announced in due course.
This special film will also include scenes filmed with Finnian Garbutt (Ryan Power) who died earlier this year.
The story opens with a violent crime committed against a much-loved local and the police investigation brings bad news for Detective Sergeant Marlene Pettigrew. Love is also in the air and there鈥檚 a wedding to plan, but this is Port Devine, what could possibly go wrong?
Hope Street is filmed in and around County Down鈥檚 seaside town of Donaghadee. Across its five series, it has provided a development pipeline for writing, acting and production talent from Northern Ireland, demonstrating the 91福利社鈥檚 commitment to the local creative sector.

It part of the long-running partnership between the 91福利社 and Northern Ireland Screen which continues to support the local screen industry, ensuring Northern Ireland is better represented to audiences across the UK and internationally.
