Sean Styles and Willie Miller, both local comedians, brighten up your Sunday mornings with fun and laughter.

From the Curly Quiz to Staying Alive the phone lines to Radio Merseyside are jammed every Sunday with callers attempting to answer the quizzes or asking for dedications.

Sean and Willie both feel that their comedic backgrounds are a great grounding for radio, for them the best part of the show is the feedback they get from their listeners. Sean Styles says 鈥淵ou just couldn鈥檛 script some of the things listeners come up with when they ring in. Some of the guesses for Celebrity Crooner are so off the wall you often wonder how some people鈥檚 minds work.鈥�

Sean says comedy has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember. He reckons his first audience was probably at the Doctors when he did 鈥榯he twist鈥� in the waiting room. This continued through his schooldays when he鈥檇 entertain classmates with impressions of teachers an attitude to authority figures that continued well into his working life in numerous factories.

Sean鈥檚 passions in life are varied some of which clash with his partner Willie鈥檚 鈥淚 hate spiders, I love chocolate ice cream, red shoes and Everton FC.鈥�

鈥淚 love reading, but not fiction. I once tried to read 鈥楾he Thirty Nine Steps鈥� but got fed up after the first two flights!鈥�

Willie Miller

Willie is a big Liverpool FC fan with a passion for 鈥榩ound shops鈥� 鈥� he loves to mooch around for hours and buy lots of useless junk he鈥檒l never use.

Willie insists that Sean and himself really do make each other laugh and that nothing in the programme is scripted, even the parts that aren鈥檛 broadcast. He admits to being terrified of leaving the mic on when it shouldn鈥檛 be, 鈥淲e would be sacked!鈥� he laughs. 鈥淲e do have a laugh in between records, I once did a whole show in my underpants just to wind Sean up.鈥�

Willie would like to continue presenting as long as the listeners want him to 鈥淚 enjoy the atmosphere at the station.鈥� he says 鈥淎nd it鈥檚 great to say that you work for the 91福利社.鈥�
