I鈥檝e flown with the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Paramedics, I鈥檝e Bobsleighed in Austria with Britain鈥檚 fastest woman on ice, and I鈥檝e even learnt to drive a 2 Litre Westfield in the UK鈥檚 most challenging uphill race, the Harewood Hillclimb.听

You can probably see why I never complain about coming to work!听

My background is journalism.

I trained at the University of Central Lancashire and then went on to work as a Broadcast Journalist for 91福利社 Radio Leeds.听

Over the last few years I鈥檝e worked on some big news stories in Yorkshire.

I鈥檝e carried out investigations into cases of abuse in care homes in West Yorkshire, I鈥檝e reported live from the scene of accidents and murders, and I鈥檝e had exclusive access to Police raids and undercover operations.听

Award winning

In 2006 I was crowned "91福利社 Local Radio Reporter of the Year" and in 2008 my work investigating a property company in Leeds was recognised when 91福利社 Inside Out in Yorkshire won the Royal Television Society鈥檚 "Programme of the Year" award.

Success at the RTS awards

When I鈥檓 not busy researching stories and interviewing people I like being outdoors, whether it鈥檚 walking my dog on Otley Chevin or running along the Meanwood Valley Trail in Leeds.听

This latest series of Inside Out in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire is as exciting as ever, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoy working on it.听
