Gere Woos Swank
Richard Gere is keeping busy with a pair of high profile movie projects. First up, he's marrying Hilary Swank in Amelia, the story of famed aviatrix Amelia Earhart. Mira Nair is directing from a script by Ron Bass. And my golly, could there be any more perfect casting than Hilary Swank? Take a look at and tell me the similarity isn't spooky.
Next, Gere will star in Antoine Fuqua's film Brooklyn's Finest, a police thriller about three cops drawn together by deadly circumstance or something. Cops two and three are Don Cheadle and Ethan Hawke, according to . Sadly, all this proper factual information has left us with no room for the now tradional "Richard Gere's middle name is Tiffany" joke. Bet he's relieved.

Farrellys Quaff Beaujolais
Gross-out kings the Farrelly Brothers have landed themselves a new comedy project. According to , Fox has bought a script called Beajolais for the brothers to produce and possibly direct.
Despite the title, Beaujolais has nothing to do with wine. Instead, it's described as a redneck action adventure in the spirit of Austin Powers. With the Farrellys on board, we can expect plenty of dodgy gags about banjos and, um, family relations. You know.

Milla Heads North
Milla Jojovich is set to star in The 4th Kind, a mystery flick for Gold Circle Films. Details on the project are scarce, but tells us that it's a fact based thriller set in an Alaskan town where there have been a series of disappearances over the course of four decades.
Of course, if they're sending Milla to investigate, the culprit is probably zombies.

Janney's Double Whammy
Alison Janney, still best known to viewers as the indomitable CJ from the West Wing, has landed a pair of comic movie roles. She'll appear first in This Must Be The Place, the Sam Mendes-directed relationship tale, opposite Toni Collette.
Then it's straight on to A Thousand Words, a high concept Eddie Murphy comedy directed by Brian Robbins. According to , Murphy plays a man who finds he has only a thousand words left to say before he dies. Ah, if wishing made it so... Anyway, Janney has apparently been cast as his avaricious boss. With all this and a Broadway role in the stage musical version of Dolly Parton's 9 To 5, Janney's career is looking rosy.

Hulk Sighted
Finally, for those of you who just can't wait to see Edward Norton losing his rag in The Incredible Hulk, Universal has released a rather splendid poster for the forthcoming superhero blockbuster. You can see it . Note the excellent muscle tone.
And if that's not enough for you, check out the , which promises a surfeit car smashin', monster mashin' carnage, and none of those arty shots of rock and lichen that made up the bulk of the last movie.
