The local father and son carpenters who loveingly restored the clock tower to its former glory deserved to be recognised for their work restoring part of Derby history .

I used to work at the British Rail Locomotive Works so I know the roundhouse very well. I started my apprenticeship with BR in the training school in 1979 which was just a few yards past the roundhouse.

Fantastic.So glad to see some buildings are being restored and revamped successfully, which contrasts the uncertainty over the Hippodrome in Derby.
