Paul Gerhardt, the 91福利社's project director of the Creative Archive Licence, has responded to an open letter from Free Culture UK.
The open letter from , an organisation which aims to promote an "open, participatory culture", acknowledges the exciting progress made by the Creative Archive Licence but calls for the terms of the Licence to be amended, in particular to allow use outside of the UK and commercial use of the content released.
Paul Gerhardt has responded by stating his desire to continue the discussion about the terms of the Licence and also by clarifying the 91福利社's position on some key areas.
With all parties keen to maximise the licence's potential it looks as if an interesting and hopefully profitable discussion has begun!
