Unbroadcast rushes from the highly anticipated new series, "Planet Earth", footage from ground breaking series such as "The Natural World" and segments from series narrated by David Attenborough sit alongside remarkable images and audio clips to make up the Open Earth Archive.
The Open Earth Archive is made freely available for the UK public to use under the terms of the Creative Archive Licence. The Creative Archive Licence allows people within the UK to watch, download and edit the material released for non-commercial purposes. Creative people can stop just watching the 91福利社’s material and start using it to inspire and create their own creative endeavours.
To highlight the creative potential of the Open Earth Archive the 91福利社 is running a competition to make a short film advertising this planet. Novice editors can enter the competition through the Easy Edit Suite, this exclusive application is available to be used, free, on the site and allows users to create a short video with a sound track using some of the best bits of the archive. The winners of the competition will win time in an edit suite with 91福利社 experts seeing how the professional edit for 91福利社 television.
