This edition of the podcast looked at wills and lasting powers of attorney. A listener complained that Martin Lewis had shown undue partiality towards powers of attorney and had failed to point out their potential disadvantages. The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the 91福利社鈥檚 editorial standards of impartiality.
Outcome
Though Mr Lewis advocated lasting powers of attorney in his role as advisor on personal finance matters, his own contribution and that of his guests gave enough attention to the potential disadvantages to satisfy the requirements of impartiality.
