In the series 2, Jonny鈥檚 and Janet鈥檚 relationship is under threat when an old ex comes back on to the scene, meanwhile Gaz and Donna try to further their relationship by trying to find other things in common than sex, sex, sex.
Fed up with her lack of men in her life, Louise turns to other species for companionship which of course doesn鈥檛 go to plan. Flo is still drinking for England and dishing out useless advice and snidey comments to her long suffering daughter.

The gobby one of the group and is proud of her ability to swear like a trooper whilst simultaneously downing a pint and smoking a fag
Janet - Sheridan Smith
She lives contentedly with boyfriend Jonny and can usually be found at home on the sofa picking her feet or in the pub talking rubbish with Donna.
Jonny - Ralf Little
He is a sweet devoting boyfriend to Janet but it鈥檚 fair to say that he鈥檚 not the sharpest tool in the tool box.
Gaz - Will Mellor
His favourite things are: himself, Man City, beer, sex... and Man City. He鈥檚 currently dating Donna although they鈥檝e never actually been on a date.
Louise - Kathryn Drysdale
She's a few sandwiches short of a picnic and desperate to get her own man (who is preferably her perfect horoscope match).
Flo - Beverley Callard
Donna's mother is always on hand to offer completely inappropriate advice about men and to top up martinis.
