Where were you born?
South-west London.
What was your favourite hobby and/or present as a kid?
Action Man because I was the first to get one in my block and all the other kids were jealous.
How you got into being a DJ/presenter?
My older brother Errol was in a sound system and he gave me my very first break!
Your biggest influences and biggest achievements?
DJ Swing, DJ听 279, Ollie Twist, Trevor Nelson and Jigs.
Getting on 1Xtra, playing out at the after-parties for Eminem, DC and Kelis.听
Key tune that inspired you and favourite lyric?
Public Enemy: Fight the Power. It was all to do with the movement and the messages with the music.
"Life鈥檚 a b**ch and then you die, that鈥檚 why we get high." Cos it鈥檚 true, you never know when you鈥檙e gonna go! .
Your dream gig or collaboration?
To DJ in NYC at Club Speed with DJ 279, Westwood and Jazzy Jeff.
Interests / hobbies outside music?
Playstation Pro 4 Soccer all-day, everyday and watching a good comedy (Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle).
Three rules you live your life by?
Work hard, play hard.

You get one free slap on somebody to tell them to sort it out. Who would get it and why?
My听first girlfriend cos she gave me a ring听then took it back when we broke up. That鈥檚 just wrong.
What's your weakness?
Unhappy people always pull at my heart strings!
You're on your way home from a rave and starving. There's a kebab shop听and a听bagel shop, which one do you go to?
Bagel. I could never eat a kebab cos i was once told it's horse! My mum鈥檚 the best cook in the world so it don鈥檛 matter what time it is I'll always get good food there. If it's late it doesn鈥檛 matter cos I've still got keys to their house!
If you weren鈥檛 a DJ / presenter, what would you be?
A&R in a record label or chef/cook. A&R because I think I can spot new talent, I've got a good ear and chef because I just love food.

Where were you born?
Gooner country, the centre of the universe, north London.
What was your favourite hobby and/or present as a kid?
Fave hobby was singing, dancing and playing music. The present that sticks out was a bright red mountain bike I copped one Christmas. My brother and our best mate got bikes too and we rode around for the whole of Christmas Day.
How you got into being a DJ/presenter?
By accident really, I was asked to do some entertainment news for a radio show and got the taste for it. I met Jason after that and the opportunity to do student radio came up so we jumped at it. Within in a year we were on 1Xtra.
Your biggest influence?
My mum.
Key tune that inspired you?
A Tribe Called Quest: Electric Relaxation.
This is a record I love. It鈥檚 a classic with a very clever sample, great verses and a heavy hook. Hip hop perfection. I wrote an essay on it that got me some very needed marks at uni so I鈥檒l always have a place in my heart for it.
Favourite lyric?
"Dem belly full, but we hungry, a hungry man is an angry man," Bob Marley. That line summed up me trying to get into the music industry. I wanted it so bad it p****d me off.
Your dream gig or collaboration?
Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley doing an unplugged album together.
Three rules you live your life by?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Keep it simple.
Never trust a big butt and a smile.
If you ran the country what would you change/initiate?
If I only had one day I鈥檇 do really selfish things like make DJs tax exempt and declare myself Baron Iyare, Lord of the Independent Republic of Finsbury Park.
